Mysore Bonda is a typical, traditional and delicious South Indian Snack originated from Mysore, Karnataka. It is also very famous in Andhra and Telangana called as Mysore Bajji.
Preparing Mysore Bonda is quite simple and easy. Make a batter with Maida adding curd, salt and cooking soda. Fine chop onion, green chillies, coriander leaves, curry leaves and add to the batter along with jeera. Mix well to make thick batter. Now wet your palm, take a small amount of batter and drop in hot oil to make bondas. Deep fry them on low flame till they turn golden colour. It looks crunchy outside and soft inside. Serve hot along with coconut chutney / ginger chutney. Tomato ketchup also accompanies good with Mysore Bonda.

INGREDIENTS :
1 cup Maida
1/4 tsp Salt
1 Pinch Cooking Soda
3/4 cup Curd
Water
1/4 tsp Jeera
1 tsp Onion - finely chopped
1 tsp Green Chillies - finely chopped
Curry leaves - finely chopped
Coriander leaves - finely chopped
METHOD :
1) In a bowl, take a cup of Maida.
2) Add salt to taste, pinch of soda and add curd.
3) Mix well adding water.
4) Now add jeera, curry leaves, green chillies, coriander leaves and onion.
5) Mix well to make thick batter.
6) Heat oil in a Pan.
7) Wet your hands and take a small amount of batter and drop to the oil to make bondas.
8) Put low flame and deep fry all the bondas till they turn golden colour.
9) Take out and serve hot.
10) Enjoy the taste of MYSORE BONDA.
